Considerations |
|
Due to the upward
chip flow of these tools they have a
tendency to lift the parts in some
cases. Additional holding power or
the use of a stepped cutting system
may be required.
On certain materials fuzzing may be
experienced on the top surface. If
this is a real problem consider
using the compression style tools.

Considerations |

Due to the downward
chip flow of these tools they have a
tendency to force chips into the
parts being cut in most cases.
Grooving applications can be
difficult as burning can occur.
On certain materials fuzzing may be
experienced on the bottom surface.
If this is a real problem consider
using the compression style tools.
End geometry does not allow for good
plunging through materials.
